The section in front of the entrance to the Podryad asphalt plant was built as a test site for a comparative assessment of two solutions: Veleton SBS and Veleton MPC. The sections were divided by a visual marker, a post.
This made it possible to observe in practice how the two types of modification behave under identical service conditions.
Two adjacent test sections were built at the site: one with Veleton SBS modification, the second with Veleton MPC modification.
This format made it possible to compare both solutions under comparable conditions and to assess their actual condition after long-term service.
Veleton specialists organised the test section, divided the zones for the comparative assessment, controlled the application of the two modification technologies, observed the condition of the pavement during service and audited the site in 2025.
The period of service from completion to the audit was 7 years. According to the 2025 audit both sections are in good condition: no cracking, no rutting found, and no significant pavement defects recorded.
The site is of particular value as a practical comparative case confirming the effectiveness of two Veleton solutions in long-term service. It can be used as a demonstration example for clients and contractors, because it shows how two technologies behave at one site and under identical conditions.
